Services & Techniques

At KB Chiropractic, we take great pride in providing the finest chiropractic wellness care to our patients. Below is some of the different chiropractic services we offer in our practice.

Sports Specific Myofascial Release

Myofascial pain is pain in the muscle.  Chiropractic care is often a preferred treatment for myofascial pain due to its effectiveness and drug free approach. Patients who undergo treatment will usually experience a dramatic decrease in their pain level or it will be eliminated altogether. Patients also enjoy increased strength, flexibility, and range of motion.

Corrective Exercises

We teach our patients special "blueprint" exercises designed just for them to help strengthen and correct their own unique problem. These exercises can be performed in the comfort of your own home and can improve the effectiveness of your spinal correction by as much as 30-40%. In addition to skeletal misalignment, muscles and connective tissues can be out of place or strained by improper alignment and use. Specific exercises and stretches can help your body stay in balance and in health.

Ultrasound

Ultrasound therapy is used to minimize muscle pain and movement dysfunction.  Therapeutic ultrasound uses sound waves to deliver deep heat to the treated tissues.  The treatments may help reduce stiffness, swelling, and pain, increase circulation, and promote pain-free movement.

Kinesio Taping

The Kinesio Taping Method is a definitive rehabilitative taping technique that is designed to facilitate the body’s natural healing process while providing support and stability to muscles and joints without restricting the body’s range of motion as well as providing extended soft tissue manipulation to prolong the benefits of manual therapy administered within the clinical setting.

Spinal & Postural Screenings

Posture and spinal screenings can reveal important health information and unlock the door to improved health and well-being.

Neuromuscular Massage

The most effective type of massage therapy for lower back pain is neuromuscular massage. Neuromuscular massage consists of alternating levels of concentrated pressure
on the areas of muscle spasm. This will feel painful at first, but the pressure of the massage should alleviate the muscle spasm.

Gait Training

Gait training is a type of physical therapy. Gait training can help:

  • strengthen your muscles and joints
  • improve your balance and posture
  • build your endurance
  • develop your muscle memory
  • retrain your legs for repetitive motion
  • lower your risk of falls, while increasing your mobility
